This is a Fully Washed (the fruit is completely removed from the bean before sun-drying) blend of Caturra and Variedad Colombia beans from the Cauca region of Colombia, they are known for their rich acidity and medium body. Excelso beans are virtually identical to Supremo beans, and in fact are typically found on the exact same trees, the only difference between the two is that Supremo beans are just slightly larger.
Cupping notes for this coffee are: Bold, citrusy and chocolatey with a clean finish.
